There is absolutely no shortage of things to do around us, including nothing at all! Below you'll find information on some of the areas activities. Big Spruce RV & Cabins makes an excellent base camp to get out & enjoy the coastal N.W. 

WORLD CLASS FISHING 

It's no secret that some of the best fishing around happens right here on our little river! The Humptulips has a storied history dating back hundreds of years. The traditions are still very much alive & well today. We are located just minutes from a launch and have ample onsite parking for your boat or if your a bank fisherman you'll enjoy the easy access to the muddy banks of the Humptulips river. MOUNTAIN BIKING

People come from all over to enjoy the area on Mountain Bikes. One of the favorite areas is the west fork trail area. It's worth the weekend to explore the 17+ mile trail and network of branch trails accessible via forest service roads

DINING & NIGHTLIFE 

Ocean Crest - Considered by many as one of the finest on the North Pacific Coast. Framed by wind torn Spruce trees and overlooking Sunset Beach and the Ocean, our dining rooms provide a sweeping seascape that is possibly the best ocean view anywhere. Exceptional wine list and exquisite food.

Quinault Beach Resort & Casino - Several dining option to choose from and a Casino with plenty of entertainment options available. Frequent live events & concerts are held here.

Roosevelt Dining Room - Offering local dining with Spectacular views. In the fall of 1937, President Franklin D. Roosevelt visited Lake Quinault Lodge during a fact-finding trip and enjoyed lunch in the later-named Roosevelt Dining Room. Nine months later, Roosevelt signed a bill creating Olympic National Park.

Today you'll enjoy outstanding cuisine in the Roosevelt Dining Room, one of our famous Olympic Peninsula Restaurants, as well as panoramic views of Lake Quinault and the mountains.

The Salmon House - More than just Salmon they have a large variety of seafood, steaks, chicken, pasta and salads, they even have a kids menu. The ambiance and the view from the Salmon house are not to be missed.

Frontagers pizza Co. - A Seabrook, Washington-born pizza concept Co., elevating the classic Italian brick-oven pizza by infusing Northwest artisanal ingredients. Excellent dining experience, definitely a favorite of the locals.

The Green Lantern Pub - the Green Lantern sells beer, with 13 on tap at all times and growlers to go.  They also serve a full menu and alcohol for mixed drinks. Great casual dining, watering hole  & favorite hangout spot. A must see while your in-town.

Bennetts Fish Shack - Chowder, crab cakes, delicious steaks,

Ales & cocktails, yeah this place pretty much has it all. Busy on the weekends so make a reservation!
